L’attività sarà su varie bande e modalità HF. QSL via home call dell’operatore. Saranno anche attivi come JW5X durante lo Schandinavian Activity SSB Contest (12-13 ottobre). Lo “Svalbard Amatør Radio Klubb – SARK” (Svalbard Amateur Radio Club) è un club per radioamatori delle isole Svalbard (Spitzbergen).E’ il gruppo locale dell’organizzazione nazionale “Norwegian Radio Relay League – NRRL”.
Conosciuto anche con il nome di “Svalbardgruppen av NRRL”. Il gruppo è situato nell’insediamento di Longyearbyen nell’arcipelago delle Svalbard.
