La mappa di assorbimento della regione D è composta da quattro componenti dinamiche: una mappa globale della frequenza più alta interessata dall’assorbimento di 1 dB dovuto al flusso di raggi X solari o agli eventi SEP o una combinazione di entrambi, un grafico a barre di attenuazione, messaggi di stato e un clock di ripristino stimato.
